Aug. 26 Clinic Geared to Children’s Back-To-School Needs

The Student Outreach Children's Clinic will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the School of Medicine's Family Medicine Center, located on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. No appointment is necessary.

Those without medical insurance are encouraged to attend our Student Outreach Children's Clinic Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The clinic will be held at the School of Medicine's Family Medicine Center, located on the University of Nevada, Reno campus on the corner of 17th street and East Stadium Way (just north of Mackay Stadium). You can take RTC bus route 7 to North Virginia Street or the free Sierra Spirit bus.

Student Outreach Clinics are a free service providing much needed care for Washoe County's medically uninsured population. The August 26th clinic is specially geared towards the needs of children. No appointment is necessary. Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Early arrival is recommended. Spanish translators are available as needed.

Under the direct supervision of licensed faculty and community physicians, medical students from the University of Nevada School of Medicine offer monthly Student Outreach Clinics providing free care to the medically uninsured.
